People with symptoms of a urinary infection
What is a UTI
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection of the bladder or urinary tract. Common symptoms include burning or stinging when you urinate, needing to go often or urgently, cloudy or smelly urine and lower tummy pain.
Get prompt care if you have a fever, chills, back or side pain, or vomiting, as these can be signs of a kidney infection. Your GP may suggest a urine test or an in-person visit. In an emergency, call 000.
